Final Salary Pensions Closing

More than one million workers to see final salary pension schemes close

 

 

With the recession forcing companies to find ways of reducing costs Final Salary Schemes are being closed , abandoned or changed.

Watson Wyatt reports that 50% of Britain’s companies will close their Final Salry schemes to existing members, while another 28 per cent will keep their scheme open to existing members but on less generous terms.
