Financial Advice for Students

Students need financial advice.

With students debts rising - and university costing £13,000 per year on average for many this is pretty blunt and shocking introduction to financial responsibility.

UCAS web site has a great deal of information for students. Many Universities and colleges offer courses and information on everything from budget planners to personal guidance for students at their establishment.   A search on Google for Student Financial Advice will bring up many good resources.  The Royal Holloway is an excellent example.

Every student should spend some time getting their finances in order. They often find that with their grant and student loan they have more money in their current account than ever before and this sudden apparent wealth can lead to a lack of foresight over budgeting.

Getting your finances organised only takes a short time and when you are clear about how much you have, how much you can spend and how long it is going to last etc it will make life as student the enjoyable experience it should be.

Saying " I am no good with money " is NOT an option, it could make your life miserable!  get organised today!
